Dr. Berg discourages people from drinking alchol or smoking. In this video, he explains about fatty liver symptoms and fatty liver treatment. Liver is a big size organ, next to the heart and performs so many different functions. A lifestyle of a person plays an important role in the liver functioning and failure. There are several stages of liver damage that occur – inflammation, fat deposits, scar tissue. The liver is the only organs in the body that can regenerate itself but it generally takes a long time. Foods that harm the liver include alcohol. Foods that can heal the liver are bitter vegetables.

The liver has 500 functions and if dysfunction can become inflamed, develop scar tissue and eventually cirrhosis. The best foods for the liver are the Cruciferous Vegetables (kale, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, collar greens and broccoli. However, many other vegetables are also excellent: radish, garlic, turmeric, asparagus and beet.
