In this video, Dr. Berg talks about low carb diet being linked to atrial fibrillation. There’s a new study that shows the low carb diet increased the risk for atrial fib by 16% compared to the high carb group and 18% for the low carb compared to the moderate group. And the researcher of the study stated, “while the research shows an association, it can’t prove cause and effect.”

The biggest problem with this study is how they defined the low carb diet to which they said that 44.8% of the total calories being carbohydrates. BUT the truth is when you do the ketogenic diet, you are only doing 5% of the total carb.
