If you have a lack of vitamins and nutritional deficiencies, that can spark a range of different health conditions. It’s pretty amazing that you can actually spot some of the warning signs of these nutritional deficiencies by looking at your nails.
What to look for:
• Vertical Ridges in Fingernails – Hypothyroid condition / Deficiency in vitamin B12 / Iron Deficiency
• Brittle Nails – Deficiency in Folate / Biotin
• Fungus – Biotin Deficiency
• White Spot – Zinc Deficiency
• White Horizontal – Calcium Deficiency
• Thicker White Horizontal Lines – B3 Deficiency
• Brown/Grey Nails – Low B12
• Clubbed Nails – Liver or Kidney
