0:17 Associating what’s underneath the thyroid problem
0:36 Possible causes of a thyroid problem
5:22 How do we find the cause?
In this video, we’re going to talk about the thyroid gland and the causes of thyroid problems. There are so many people that are walking around with a thyroid problem, but it’s actually secondary to something else.
Most thyroid issues are not primary unless you’ve been exposed to radiation.
What is thyroid?
The thyroid is located in the base of the neck, and the gland controls metabolism. If there is a problem with the thyroid, and it’s a low thyroid, nearly 100 enzymes inside your cells will be blocked. You won’t be able to absorb the proteins in the body.
Some symptoms of thyroid problems:
• Dry hair/hair loss
• Vertical ridges in your nails
• Loose skin
• You gain weight all over
Causes of thyroid problems:
1. Low iodine
2. High estrogen
3. Low bile
4. Liver
Out of all of these possibilities, which cause makes the most sense? By fixing one thing, does it fix everything at the same time? Everything is connected. Usually, it’s a gallbladder bile problem. But, for example, let’s say a woman starts having this problem right after pregnancy—then you know it’s probably from high estrogen.
